NANOJY is an ultra-modern, feminine clothing brand designed to surprise. It is also a promising business project, a Ukrainian-Portuguese collaboration of two talented designers and business ladies Elvira Gavrilova and Yulia Lyatavskaya.
NANOJY brand concept
To talk about NANOJY and explain in detail the brand’s concept, it’s worth paying attention to the principle of the LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) group of companies by Bernard Arnault. The French billionaire, the founder of the world’s largest luxury empire, has been one of the ten wealthiest people in Europe and the world, according to Forbes for many years. Arnault started building his empire of luxury, which today includes more than 70 premium brands – from Christian Dior and Givenchy to Chandon and Dom Pérignon, in mid-1980th. Having bought Dior from the bankrupt owner, he quickly put the company on its feet and, already in 1989, due to acquaintances and connections, received a controlling stake in the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy conglomerate. In subsequent years, the holding included Marc Jacobs, Guerlain, Sephora, TAG Heuer, and dozens of others.
Following the example of Bernard Arnault’s successful business strategy, NANOJY plans to unite dozens of others under its brand. At the moment, Elvira and Julia are negotiating with Portuguese and Italian designers to collaborate on the next collection.
A14-year-old model Anastasiia Bondarchuk became the brand’s face
The presentation of the NANOJY Spring/Summer 2021 collection will take place in September. First, the collection will be presented in Odessa, then in Lisbon, and finally in Milan. By the way, the lookbook for the first NANOJY collection has already been filmed, and 14-year-old top model Anastasiia Bondarchuk has become its face. In her track record, there are such big names as Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Fendi, Dior… But Nastya is happy to collaborate with Ukrainian brands.
The biography of Anastasiia Sergeevna Bondarchuk contains publications in world-famous glosses as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, L’officiel, and many others. After shooting a lookbook for the jewelry brand of the famous businessman, participant of “The Bachelor” show Irakli Makatsaria, Forbes representatives noticed the girl. The publication’s journalists contacted Anastasiia Bondarchuk and interviewed her.
Shooting the video and Odessa landscapes in the NANOJY campaign
Returning to the NANOJY campaign, we must say that the shooting took more than a month. The collection is based on four natural elements: earth, water, fire, and air. For the filming of each of the elements, images and locations in Odessa, close to Anastasiia Bondarchuk, were worked out. Initially, they planned to shoot in Europe, but due to quarantine and the closure of borders, it was decided to shoot in Odessa.
For filming the “Earth” element, “unearthly” desert landscapes of the Kuyalnik estuary were chosen. “Water” was filmed on the Black Sea coast near the village of “Fontanka.” There are still preserved wild beaches, to which tourists have not yet trodden paths. Model Anastasiia Bondarchuk looks excellent in the frame while filming the element of “Fire” in front of the flaming logo of the NANOJY brand (night Kuyalnik). And, finally, “Air” was filmed at the Odessa Hydroport in front of light gliders.
